Tony, Angela and family welcome you to Elan Valley Mutton.
All our organic mutton comes from our own mountain farm in the beautiful Elan Valley, Mid Wales.

Organic Mutton Specialists Our superior mutton comes from 3-4 year old Welsh Mountain Sheep. They graze naturally on the moorland pastures and herb rich hay meadows on our farm.
The rich texture and fuller flavour of our mutton make it perfect for any roast, casserole, tangine or curry.

Elan Valley Mutton wins True Taste Award Our roasted leg of Mutton has won an award in the Wales True Taste competition.
The judges said "there is no denying this is a quality product - there's a beautiful depth and complexity of flavour here, it's magnificent"
And we are very proud to have been described as a "great example of farmers evolving into food business people", high praise indeed. |

Seasonal Product Elan Valley Mutton season is from september onwards which is the traditional period for quality meat from the mountains. The sheep will have been grazing on the herb rich mountain all summer and develop the special taste of Elan Valley Mutton.
It will be available from our online shop and retailers from September onwards. |

Mutton Ham We have developed a range of delicious smoked and cooked Mutton hams which are available from our online shop. These are traditional welsh recipes adapted for todays palate.
